Our AT406 is based on our AT402, with a update in mobile network communications, from LTE Cat M to full blown LTE Cat 1 (4G) with global frequency band support for use in all regions. Designed with moto-sharing and connected vehicle applications in mind, the AT406 features an automotive connector which can be easily integrated into a vehicle wiring loom, either in volume production or as an after-market accessory. Additional features include IP65 ingress protection, BLE connectivity, CANBus and the usual Astra Telematics real-time high-reliability communications, which are critical in sharing or connected-vehicle applications. Add-in the latest low-power STM32U5 microcontroller and future-proof LTE communications, and you can see why the AT406 is shaping-up to be a popular choice. Of course, there’s no reason why the AT406 can’t be used in other applications, it has all the essential features for many applications, and it is built to a budget which suits any projects with tight cost constraints.
